ABOUT US

Light House Abingdon is a vibrant Pentecostal Church in Abingdon: part of a large, worldwide, multi-cultural community of charismatic Christians. Light House Abingdon is part of the great commission of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). RCCG is a worldwide Church that was established in 1952 by Ps Josiah Akindayomi. The present General Overseer is Pastor E. A. Adeboye. We operate an open door policy and welcome everyone irrespective of their race, gender, religion or belief, sexual orientation, disability and age.

MANDATE

Our church exists to equip God’s people for works of service, for the building up of the body of Christ. We accomplish this by helping each individual DISCOVER, DEVELOP and DEPLOY their gifts. We aim to build a community of people whose aim would be a life of Daily Living, Daily Giving. People whose lives would revolve around serving others in the name of Jesus Christ

TO ACCOMPLISH Nos. 2 & 3 ABOVE, WE WILL PLANT CHURCHES WITHIN FIVE MINUTES WALKING DISTANCE IN EVERY CITY AND TOWN OF DEVELOPING COUNTRIES AND

WITHIN FIVE MINUTES DRIVING DISTANCE IN EVERY CITY AND TOWN OF DEVELOPED COUNTRIES
WE WILL PURSUE THESE OBJECTIVES UNTIL EVERY NATION IN THE WORLD IS REACHED FOR JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD

 

Actual Service in Person  @ Abbey Cinema, Abingdon. The Cinema entrance can be used for Church service or alternatively, access “The Roysse Room  via Bridge Street opposite Lewis Baker Retail Shop, which is also suitable for wheel or push chair access

Abbey close car park, by Waitrose, is the nearest car parking space free on Sundays
